The two sisters who are behind the Maya & Bo Brand share the goal of creating wearable clothing that radiates power, celebrate womanhood and femininity, while being stylish. Every piece has a form or a detail which gives to the design more attractive impression. Maja finds inspiration in the epoch/period costume of the Midddle Adges, through Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo and early 19th Centurie, so she has transposed some of those details into the collection, but in more commercial way. She finished her studies of textile design and clothing at the College of Textile, design, technology and management. Maja has been in the fashion industry for 15 years, and during that time she formed her own personal identity as a fashion designer. She had a lot of fashion shows and exhibitions in Serbia and Croatia. Also, she had fashion shows on “Serbia Fashion Week” 2016 and “Budapest Fashion Week” 2018. She has done many stylings for fashion events and world’s beauty pageants. Bojana is a model and she always loved fashion and got in this world inspired by watching Maja making garments for her Brand. As a model she had opportunities to see a different clothes and styles in many countries. Bojana has worked with many brands like: “Guess”, “Intimissimi”, and “Yamamay” and shot for covers of fashion magazines like: “Harper’s Bazar”, “Elle”, “Cosmopolitan”, “Sports Illustrated” and “Maxim” in USA. Due to her rich experience and gained knowledge in this job, she has built her sense for taste in fashion-textile industry. Putting their tastes and styles together, they have built Maya & Bo Brand, something that will make every women feel unique.
